vocal teaching
After several years as a music therapist I started my profession as a singing teacher. For many years I have been teaching in the Joseph-Haydn-Konservatorium in Eisenstadt and in the Diözesan-Konservatorium in Vienna. I work with beginners as well as with advanced students and am able to practise a wide range of pedagogical and didactical ideas. I enjoy leading my students to a successful graduation. The best known of my students is Elisabeth Kulman, whom I accompanied during her first years. I love to help and coach the students in developing their vocal progress. By choosing the optimal repertoire I can support the wide variation of individual talent. I also wrote a book on this subject (Voice in Progress), which was published in 2010. As a teacher you need a vision, intuition and knowledge in order to know which choice in which moment is best for someone.
I have also been teaching the following subjects:
- Physiology
- Vocal Ensemble
- Breathing Exercises
- Italian and German Phonetics
professional development
At the moment I am writing my PhD about the songs of Liszt.
Furthermore, I successfully earned a degree for stage-coaching at the institute PEP (process- and embodiment focused psychology) with Dr. Michael Bohne in Hannover. (www.dr-michael-bohne.de)
